Candle Care
To get the best performance out of your candle, please follow our care instructions.
Whilst every effort has been made to ensure the consistency of each candle, our candles are poured in small individual batches. Our wax is 100% natural soy wax, which may result in small blemishes on the side or surface of your candle. This is a small blemish, not a fault and does not impact on the quality or burn of the candle.
When burning your New Flame candle please let your candle burn until it covers the entire surface of the glass. A pool of wax will form and set you up for an even and consistent glow and prevent tunnelling.
Trim your wick to at least 5mm before or after each burn to prevent smoke or a large flame.
Burn your candle for no more than 2-3 hours at one time. Before relighting your candle please ensure it has cooled and hardened completely.
Do not burn your candle in drafty areas and flammable surfaces. Please ensure you are burning your candle on a stable and heat resistant surface.
Keep your candles out of direct sunlight, this prevents damage or discolouration to wax.
Never leave a lit candle unattended and handle with care as the container and wax may become hot.
If your candle glass is turning black, it’s best to clean it straight away. Before cleaning the candle, blow out the flame and let the wax and the container cool completely. Dampen a paper towel and rub it over the soot until it dissipates
Please discard your candle when there is 10mm of wax or less remaining.
